Homeland Security Summits I & II

In 2002 Frontline Foundation conceived and produced the Homeland Security Summit&tm;, the value of an interdisciplinary training approach to improve the level of our nation’s preparedness. Led by Honorary Chairman, US Senator Saxby Chambliss (R-Georgia), the Homeland Security SummitTM was a unique program combining a national meeting for education, discussion, and training on homeland security concerns with challenging preparedness drills conducted by public safety and healthcare workers.

The 2003 Homeland Security Summit&tm; was produced in partnership with Consequence Management 2003 (CMX), and included a full-scale, live action WMD Exercise as well as a SARS conference and preparedness exercise. Led once again by Honorary Chairman United States Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-Georgia), co-hosts included the Eisenhower Army Medical Center, the Southeast Regional Army Medical Command, and the US Airborne 94th Airlift wing. Event sites included Ft. Gordon near Augusta, Ga., and Dobbins Air Reserve Base and Six Flags park in Atlanta. These events were all fully accredited for CME’s and CEU’s.
