The University of California, Irvine and the Pacific Southwest Regional Center of Excellence in cooperation with the National Biosafety and Biocontainment Training Program are offering Operations and Maintenance II, a one week high-containment laboratory training course designed for Facilities Personnel, Laboratory Managers and Biosafety Officers.

This 5-day training program is designed for Operations & Maintenance personnel, Laboratory Managers, and Biosafety Officers who support, work in or manage BSL2/3 facilities.

• Laboratory Sterilization and Disinfection for O&M Personnel

• Laboratory Systems: Utilities and Maintenance

• Troubleshooting Laboratory HVAC, Filtration and Utility Systems
• Emerging Issues in Biosafety and Biocontainment

This course is endorsed by the National Biosafety and Biocontainment Training Program (NBBTP). NBBTP offers CEUs for its programs that qualify under IACET guidelines. CEUs will be available upon completion of this course.
